Love how rui only blinked and then giyuu just sliced up his head like he just sliced air 😂

"I cut off my head myself with my own threads... before you could chop it off."
!!!
wait a sec..
"My body is more durable than any thread I manipulate."
.....
?

Zain Farhan • 2 years ago

I think he was only referring to the weaker (white) threads

ReconUnPro • 2 years ago

Demons dont die from injuries by other demons (including themselves), they need to be killed using the demon slayer blades. Otherwise they can just regenerate

Porthya • 1 year ago

Idk, there's one case with a demon who does commit suicide by BDA, though it was technically the demon slayer's win; Muzan was pushing from afar for regeneration, but that demon went against it.

KKK • 2 years ago

yeah but with enough force I think it can be done.
It's like have two metal type one weaker and the other one is stronger, simply with enough force and timing the weak one can destroy the strong one.
He might of used the tree force with his strongest thread to cut off his head extremely fast

A cool name as if • 2 years ago

any thread*
threadS
meaning he might be able to do so with his threads combined or he may have used the impact tanjiro put on him to soften his neck-side before he completely cuts it off. There might even be much more reasons as to how but is all I managed to come up with.

Edit: I just noticed that someone had already commented something similar to mine. it is what it is. I just don't like to delete a comment so will leave it as is.

Wiz Kidd • 10 months ago

Kinda like Gabi vs Eren + Zeke in reverse.

Porthya • 1 year ago

As in "it's denser", but both body and threads are a physical part of him, thus, he can control their shape and density at will, just like his "family" mutated their looks to various degrees...

Ali • 2 years ago

so i was thinking. if the neck is their weak point why don't they just decapitate themselves. Aside from the butterfly lady, demon-slayers don't have anything to cut if the head is already apart from the body right? They won't die anyway if they do it themselves.

Atom • 2 years ago

Did you forget? Just a few episodes back Inosuke and Tanjiro's team beat a demon that had no head.

Ali • 2 years ago

you mean the one being controlled by the mother? wait, they did defeat that one, but it has no head. Is it because it is being controlled? am i missing something or am I just simply dumb?

Atom • 2 years ago

Yes, You said if demons keep their head separate then they won't have a weakness against slayers. I just pointed out that even they did manage to defeat a headless demon. That's all

youre wrong kiddo. that wasnt a demon it was a doll

Ondrej Kodytek • 12 months ago

Demon slayers will just cut the head to pieces. It should work if done by the right tool.

Porthya • 1 year ago

If they want to live independently, aka not have their bodies be manipulated by another demon(I'm guessing the puppet was a failed "father", they destroyed his head somehow and kept the body), they either need to avoid getting beheaded, or use Blood Demon Art( Rui's threads are made through his BDA, thus an extension of his own body) to keep the head and the body connected somehow and still active. Otherwise, the head and body will instinctively try to reconnect, as it happened with the Temple Demon at the start of the series, or slowly lose their regeneration power and vitality. But since all demons want to live on, ofc they'd go for the practical methods.

Ondrej Kodytek • 12 months ago

They don't need to keep the head connected. Even a destroyed head will grow back if it wasn't done by the right tool. Rui's head was connected by threads because he was already in the process of putting it back.

Porthya • 11 months ago

Except that the Temple Demon's head didn't grow back, it tried to reconnect. Yes, extremely high level demons can regenerate their heads in specific conditions, but the lowbies have so far either adapted to staying active separately for as long as they could, and then try to reconnect, or permanently split by growing limbs from their heads and such. No Lower Moon was shown able to regrow their head, much less randos or the Moons' minions. Heck, at some point we have a case with Upper Moons who need to reattach their heads to survive, though they have another gimmick for holding on.

Dellbrook • 2 years ago

Part of me really wants to feel bad for the sister that got killed but the fact that she was willing to abandon the child who was clearly being abused and manipulated is disgusting, She def didn't deserved to get killed like tht but it's clear she made the wrong choice on who she should've escaped with and it really came back to bite her in the end

Warrior of Sunlight • 2 years ago

You really should feel that way about both of them, as a piece of garbage turned them into demons, and then a subordinate vermin forced them into a fake "family". They are victims.

Dellbrook • 2 years ago

In all honesty, the child was abused and manipulated to the point where she literally wanted to die yet the sister was still ready to leave her behind for the other sister despite the fact that she was just as much a victim as the both of them. So If anyone's getting my sympathy it's going to be her. But like I said I do feel somewhat bad for her considering she must have been under a lot of anxiety and stress to want to run away and prob didn't want to risk attracting attention which might actually be the reason why she left her.

Warrior of Sunlight • 2 years ago

They were all victims. Even the one who started the fake family. All demons are victims of Muzan. All their evil actions and thoughts come from Muzan's evil cells.
He is a lowly coward, which is why demons are likely to act cowardly as well. But the low depths of his rotten and retarded mind doesn't stop there. He then blames them for the instincts he made them have. He is a mindless piece of garbage with the most disgusting level of a god-complex...

TRUCK- kun` X_X ` • 2 years ago

Aa yes that is the ultimate source of distortion!

Dellbrook • 2 years ago

True but I still feel worse for the child lol

Warrior of Sunlight • 2 years ago

That doesn't mean you shouldn't feel bad for the other ones too, as they are all victims of Muzan.

Dellbrook • 2 years ago

I just said I did lol

Dellbrook • 2 years ago

But I’ll always feel worse for the child, and it def doesn’t make the sisters words any less disgusting

Warrior of Sunlight • 2 years ago

Only if you pretend that demons have as free minds as humans. That's how you are able to judge them.

nah i dont care. youre just a NPC

Warrior of Sunlight • 1 year ago

No. I am not. You are just a piece of shit without any empathy.

OGkana • 1 year ago

you're taking this very seriously lol

Warrior of Sunlight • 1 year ago

I will never understand people who comment on someone being serious about something only to laugh at them for caring.
That is some really toxic shit. You have no right to call anyone else toxic.

I am just correcting these fools who do not understand the obvious truths of the series.
They have seen that demons are humans who were turned by Muzan, and that everything they do is because of his evil, so they are willfully ignorant.

OGkana • 1 year ago

dont take the "lol" so seriously because its there just to fill and end my comment because i dont have personality

youre a generic basic white girl most likely

OGkana • 1 year ago

nah just loner boy, which i could assume of you aswell lol

Actually I shouldnt, she's a fake person, trash people are trash regardless of the reasons

Warrior of Sunlight • 1 year ago

The reasons being that they were once humans and then Muzan turned them into demons against their will. The evil personality and cowardly nature of the demons all comes from Muzan. It's not who they really are.

All of this is made explicit in the series. You even see what happens after they die. That's when their true selves are shown.

So you should feel bad for all the victims of Muzan.

Let's say that the Manipulative Demon just wanted a family, but where did he get that absolute role motto from? The Demon Instincts?

Giyu just slices through (*´ω`*)

Ok this episode was defination of cool and badass.

SHINOBU SUPREMCY!

Npcs making excuses for worthless demons ,notice how that 1 demons wasn't a complete smooth brain and tried to run away with the fake snake. Even if they were humans that girl would still be a trash creature, she deserved to die by poison.
